Risky Taxy Journey in remote village of Ilam

As Ilam is agricultural industry based district, it has a lot of agricultural oroducts in all villages. But the road in village is muddy and easily spoilt by rain in rainy season. The tractors spoil the road more and will be very difficult and risky for taxi.

When we want go ghurbise panchami from Ranke Bazzar, just after around 2km there is very small bazzar caleed Deurali bhanjyang full of beatiful green hills.In clear weather we see mount Kumbhakarna and Myanglung Bazzar, Terhathum from here.

Ropai Jatra in Ilam(ईलाम मा रोपाईं जात्रा )

Rice is the major crop of Nepal as well as Ilam District. Rice is planted in Ashadh-Shrawan(June-July).When farmers finish the plantation of rice there will be a festival called ropai jatra. It is a musical cultural programme in which girls dance in such a way that as if they are planting rice.
